The purpose of the Men and Women of Promise Conference is to provide mentoring, character development, training, and goal setting for junior high and high schoolers, while building them up to realize their full potential.
The first Men of Promise (MOP) conference was held in 2015 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The event inspired students by speaking to their hearts and providing them professional experiences designed to shift their life trajectory. The conference’s approach was to encourage students to change their path by shifting their habits and disciplines, thus helping them to help themselves…to achieve goals. Another aspect of the conference was to connect students with role models to help them develop their VISION, DISCIPLINE and CHARACTER.
In 2019, the conference was held in its second city, Charlotte, NC, and expanded to include the first Women of Promise (WOP) event. MOP Salt Lake City was added in 2022, and to date the conferences have impacted the lives of more than 1500 students.
